The Asia Festival - Scholarship Nomination 

The Asia Festival is seeking nominations for High School and University/College students that have demonstrated outstanding academic scholarship and community service within the Greater Austin and Asian American community. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know, please complete the form below before April 15, 2008 and one of our committee members will contact you.

 

Outstanding High School Scholarship Award ($500)

Award description: This award recognizes a student from a High School who has a record of demonstrated academic excellence, extra curricular activities, community service and leadership qualities.

 

Eligibility:

Must be Asian American

Must be 15 – 18 years of age

Must be currently enrolled in a High School within Travis or Williamson Counties full time

Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher

 

Outstanding University or College Scholarship Award ($500)

Award description: This award recognizes a student from a University or College who has a record of demonstrated academic excellence, extra curricular activities, community service and leadership qualities.

 

Eligibility:

Must be Asian American

Must be 18 years of age

Must be currently enrolled in a University or College within Travis or Williamson Counties with a minimum of 9 credit hours

Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
